Tips for those who use the chinese translation version
People who used the patreon version and played the save file in EXTRA before, the dialog box will appear garbled characters when reading the save file in the chinese translation version, so they can only choose 1 out of 2 to replay and watch the dialogue record
Yeah this is a mismatch with font files unfortunately, so if you go between the two the text will mess up. I'm figuring out how to fix it for next update hopefully!

On the main menu, right behind the "Start" button, is a building with the word "Extra". Click that word twice or so, and you should be in another screen. Click on the gameboy in the room, and enjoy!
Since Ren'Py's update to 8.x, I believe that 32-bit was phased out. Sorry for the inconvenience..! If you happen to have an emulator you can probably play it though. (there is also the android version and mac).

I'm honestly not even sure how he made that rpg game in the vn. Part of me thinks its some gui with gifs that look like a game but it could also be an actual game!

Is this for the Patreon or Public version (0.1.5)? That may be because of the version difference; when I original released I was planning to have side content that was mainly for Patreon only, but decided against it and just wanted to go with a time release.
It's possible the place in it is off due to this; if that's the case you might want to go about using a new save file! Sorry for the inconvenience ><.
For V0.1.5 the only new content is Dragon Slayer which doesn't require a previous save anyways, so if you've already played through I recommend turning on skip unseen text in the options and just skipping through to the end. I'll update my post to make that aware.

It depends on how Whitman's ability. If his ability is hearing thoughts, the ability will didn't works well if he does not know the languages. Meanwhile, if his ability is seeing the projections of others' thoughts, his ability will useless against people who have aphantasia
Just played this and there's a lot of mysteries around this story. Like what the weird dream is about? And why is the protagonist is referred to as a 'big guy', but appears surprised at being called a 'big guy'? You did a good job of creating scenarios which are going to needle the reader's curiosity.

Having read some of dangpa's previous (non VN) works long ago, I expected the writing to be less cohesive or a bit harder to follow, but that's definitely not the case here, as the pacing, the dialogue and the information are presented in a manner that makes it very pleasant to read overall. A couple typos and a couple short sentences that might get just a little bit close to purple prose territory, but otherwise, it's enjoyable through and through, and I particularly enjoyed the character study approach that the story seems to have thus far, having ample time to focus on specific characters, without neglecting world building or Howl's development, specially considering dangpa's impeccable taste in husbandos. The UI has plenty of fun elements, it looks and handles nicely, and the art is banger as per usual, leaving aside bgs that may or may not be placeholders to some extent (?). Other than that, a couple more songs would've improved the experience significantly in my opinion, whether original or royalty free tunes for ambiance. I'm still intrigued by the lack of sprites as well, wondering if that makes it easier or harder to work on future content, but aesthetically, it's a nice change of pace compared to most VNs out there and it looks pretty great... so yeah, it was a very enjoyable read and I'm already excited to get more of it.

Thankfully since I'm tackling this in a VN fashion rather than a comic, I've had a bit more time to ruminate on what I want the story to be and the direction of it all (plus learning from past mistakes). I also don't have to focus on all the elements that go into comics. I'm sure I'll fumble a bit, but I have a pretty good idea in mind of where it's heading.
For Backgrounds- do you have any, in particular, you didn't like or liked? All of them are drawn by me, and admittedly, I'm no BG artist; But I'm certainly taking this project as a way to learn!
Mostly the one in the apartment, it looks a bit too desolate, partially due to the lack of color, but also because of how unnervingly symmetrical it looks, with all the rectangles and sharp edges. If the intent was to portray the emptiness of it, since Howl is moving or smth else, it's mostly alright as is. That being said, I'm happy to see your approach to the VN genre, I hope you'll get to enjoy and learn even more from it in the future, happy to see more of your stories and characters 😀
I had a lot of fun talking to the mind reader! Bit confused what exactly the mc is but it's not a big deal. I just wonder if this will have any sprites or it will continue the background + side face panel thing? The menus and everything is just crazy, animated even.
Very impressed with all the art panels so far. It must have taken a lot of work to make just even this opener. If this quality keeps up I'll be very impressed.
Also managed to make an interesting story as well as making it look good. I'm curious for whats to come!

Multiple choices, however, this will all lead to a singular ending; just with certain choices may lead to bad ends or alter that path a bit!

It'll be a mix; the main characters reoccurring often will likely have your typical sprites!
the quality of ui，manga and story are all so good，but there are lack of bgm except the scene of dream，just personly opinion，never mind
There'll be more music over time! It's definitely the hardest part for me to acquire, but I expect there'll be a bit in the next update.

Nevermind, it's been resolved
That's still an interesting bug; any idea what happened? It's just the zip created by the Ren'Py compile.
It could've been just a corrupted download (can happen depending on the network) or just a not-compatible program trying to open it.
Basically something local. Nothing to worry about.
